Week 5

Had a good night last night. I won my match and I am now 4-1. I think they will be kicking me up to a 4 handicap if I win another one. I'll find out the end of the week. It will work out in my favor because I will be playing better players. And that has its advantages when it comes to improving ones game. The handicap system in the APA (American Pool Association) is a good barometer of how well someone plays. It is based on wins and lost. It's pretty fair and it extends all the way up to the national level.
I think next week I will have attained a national handicap, and I will be able to play in the singles tournments. Both 8 ball and 9 ball. That should be interesting. There is a $35 fee to enter , but you are playing for monetary prizes. Good incentive.
