Library

I went to the library today to get a couple of books. If I do not have a book to read at night I get a little nervous. I can only spend so much time on the computer,
and I'm not a big tv person. Over the past few months I have gotten to know the librarian because he looked up a couple of books I couldn't find. I asked him about a dvd that was made from a book. I had watched the dvd twice already, and I wanted to look at the book. I looked it up on line and it cost $50.00. Not out of my pocket. He is a nice guy and did a search through two counties and came up empty. He told me no place carried it. I thanked him and was about to walk away when he called me back.
"I looked it up on line", he said. "It cost $50.00. No wonder you want it from the library". He diddled around with the computer for a couple of minutes and said to me,
"Lets go for broke. The library will buy it". And he did. Now there is a nice guy.
I gave him my phone # and he said he will call me when it comes in.
Every now and then good things happen.
