League day

I took out, from the library, Bob Henning's dvd based on his book "The Pro Book" and viewed it again (third time) over the cause of two days. He has a lot of good stuff on the dvd. It consist of 4 separate disk and takes about three hours to view them all. The best part, I believe, is the first disk. He takes you through a series of shots that will oftentimes appear during a match. For me it's a memory thing, and it is working. Last week two of the shots he showed turned up in the match I was playing. They were carbon copies and I made them both with ease. So the time watching was not wasted. I'll probably get the dvd again in a couple of weeks and watch it again. Not all of it, but certain aspects of it that are geared to my level of play. Sort of a need to know approach. I would have bought Henning's book for the simple reason that I like good reference books, but they want $49.00 for it. Too high for my taste. (And pocketbook).

Got league play tonight in Maple's bar. I will be one step closer to getting a national handicap. That will enable me to play in open one on one tournaments.
Maybe win some $$$$$.
